Hey, Friend! I’m Lauren Alexander

Lauren Alexander is a Bible teacher, writer, speaker, and proud Bible nerd who is passionate about helping women know Jesus more deeply and follow Him more faithfully. For more than twenty years, she has helped women discover that God’s Word is not only true, but alive, relevant, and powerful enough to transform everyday life. Whether she’s teaching from a stage, writing a devotional, or sitting across a table with a cup of coffee, Lauren loves helping women move beyond surface-level faith into a vibrant, authentic relationship with Jesus.

A graduate of Oakland City University with a degree in Religious Studies, Lauren is a proud Bible nerd who loves digging deep into Scripture and helping others discover its beauty, depth, and relevance for everyday life. Her teaching blends biblical depth, honest storytelling, a healthy dose of humor, and a firm belief that God is still speaking, still working, and still transforming lives today.

Lauren serves alongside her husband and best friend, Seth, who pastors First Baptist Church in Bicknell, Indiana. Together they are raising four wildly wonderful children, three of whom joined their family through adoption in a story only God could write. Since 2020, Lauren and Seth have also fostered nine children, an adventure that has taught them more about God’s grace, patience, and faithfulness than they ever expected. She is also the founder of a nonprofit organization that supports foster families in their community.
When she’s not teaching or writing, Lauren can usually be found reheating the same cup of coffee for the third time, hunting for a missing shoe, reading a commentary that most people would consider a cure for insomnia, or leading an impromptu dance party in the kitchen with her kids. Through it all, her greatest passion is communicating timeless truths to form 21st century disciples and helping women encounter the presence of God in the middle of real life.
